The City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The City Manager is responsible for directing the various departments and providing guidance in directing, supervising, coordinating and planning the day-to-day administration of the affairs of the City and the implementation of the policies established by the City Council.

Additional Responsibilities

• Represents the City with other governmental agencies
• Presents an annual budget to the City Commission for approval
• Coordinates a variety of public information resources for internal and public distribution
